I'm not sure where to start

Call or send a message. Our front desk asks a few plain questions, suggests a provider and books the first visit.

  • Massage therapy

My neck and shoulders are tight from the desk

Many people start with a massage therapist: 60 minutes of hands-on work, at the pressure you choose.

    About massage therapy
  • Chiropractic care

My back is stiff, or an old injury is acting up

A chiropractor starts with a conversation and a movement exam, and explains what they find before anything else happens.

    About chiropractic care
  • Acupuncture

    I'd like to try acupuncture

A first visit takes about 75 minutes: a conversation, a look at your pulse and tongue, and a rest with thin, single-use needles.

    About acupuncture
  • Nutrition counseling

    I have questions about eating

A licensed dietitian/nutritionist builds a plan around your own food, schedule and budget, in small steps.

Questions

Before you book

Which provider should I see first?

If you aren't sure, call the front desk. We ask what you're hoping for, suggest a provider, and book the first visit. If it turns out to be the wrong fit, we help you switch.

Can I see more than one provider on the same day?

Often, yes. The front desk can book visits back to back. Each visit is its own appointment with its own estimate.

Are the needles clean?

Acupuncture needles are sterile, thin and used once, then discarded in a sharps container. Your acupuncturist opens them in front of you.

Do you take insurance?

We are out of network, so we don't bill health plans directly. We give you an itemized receipt after every visit that you can send to your plan. See how fees work for the details.

Will I have to stop my medicine?

No. Tell us about everything you take, including supplements, and tell your prescriber that you are seeing us.

When should I see a doctor instead?

For chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness or a sudden severe headache, call 911. For anything new, worsening or worrying, see your doctor first. Our providers will tell you when something belongs with your doctor.
